To build the 3rd and more advanced version of the website, meant to start thinking from scratch and by reverse engineering all the aspects that the previous version had, combined with new additions.
The design started by doing an extended UX research with user questionnaires and breakdown of the huge sitemap of the project. The art direction was build upon the current color palette and the branding that already existed but with a slight ‘push’ to make it more up-to-date and more vibrant. For a sports news portal with such a huge amount of data (standings, scores, live matches, teams) the aim was to make a visual appealing, readable, easy to use, and accessible update of the previous version of the website.
