Seasonal Lates. National Gallery,

During my time at the National Gallery I have implemented the Seasonal Friday Lates programme.

These are four big events per year that advertise the National Gallery and the current temporary exhibition.
I have curated and implemented each event across the gallery and liaised with conservation and curation teams to negotiate what we can achieve in the spaces.

The three events that I have run so far are the Soundscapes Late, The Goya Late and the Valentine's Late.
The events included; historical aphrodisiac tasting, Renaissance dancing, fascinator making and Spanish fan demonstrations.
During each late the exhibition tickets sold out, we had increased engagement across our social channels, and significantly increased revenue across our cafes, shops and bars.

Our Valentine's Late was the busiest Friday Late so far attracting nearly 17,000 visitors to the event as well as a new younger audience who had not attended the gallery previously.

The Seasonal Late events have now been implemented as a continuing addition to the National Gallery's public programme.
