Secret Auction 2016
Art on a Postcard's annual Secret Auction took place on 17th November 2016 and raised £74,000 for the Hepatitis C Trust, by anonymously auctioning off 400 postcard sized original artworks by world renowned artists such as Grayson Perry, Maggie Hambling, Peter Blake, Harland Miller, Gilbert and George, Rebecca Salter RA and Damien Hirst, as well as emerging talent, at Bloomsbury Auctions.

Art on a Postcard's main event is the annual Secret Auction. International household names including Grayson Perry, Maggie Hambling, Oliver Jeffers, Peter Blake, Harland Miller Gilbert and George and host of Royal Academicians such as Ken Howard RA, Mick Rooney RA, John Wragg RA, Rebecca Salter RA, Paul Huxley RA and Steven Farthing RA as well as emerging talent, create a one off, original postcard sized piece of artwork to anonymously go up for auction in order to raise money for the Hepatitis C Trust. This year bidders were able to view the artworks in person at the Maddox Gallery, Mayfair 12-17th November 2016. Following a succesful Private View on 15th November, the Secret Auction made it into The Times and The Gaurdian subsequent days.
