Secret Life Of Time

Insert concept design for The New Yorker, using “The Secret Life Of Time” by Alan Burdick (Originally published in 2016) Aiming to marry the classic New Yorker editorial style with an expanded illustrative approach, this project took inspiration from the 1907 Everyman Publishing Design. Keeping typography and layout classic and clean, allows a curated mix of photographs and illustrations to shine, from Francis Crick’s original sketch of DNA, to Tracey Emin’s 1998 “Bed”, as well as classic portraiture of the figures discussed in the essay.
