It is estimated that 60% of adults can’t have a 10 minute conversation without lying. Some of these are harmless lies that are told in an attempt to position themselves on a pedestal within society or to appear more favourable in the eyes of their peers. This is something we learn as children. It is estimated that by age four, 90% of children have grasped the concept of lying and the depth of lies tend to increase as we age.
This publication presents the biggest lies people have told that they have anonymously confessed through a website that I set up. It features lies told and secrets held by people of all ages from all over the world. The aim of this is to publicise the true extent of the every day lies that people tell. The deeper lies are tucked further into the spine of the publication to bury them even further.
