3rd year Costume Design project. Updating and modernizing the costumes from Christopher Bruce's Dance, choreographed for Rambert.
The dance is focusing on Irish American Immigrants and there worry about the loss of their culture.
For my concept i focused on how the culture for Irish Americans has changed. Looking at how the strong religious element is fading in this commercialized technological world. Especially how this is shown through in their st Patrick's day festival.
