As designers we are often called upon to give graphic form to concepts which are unfamiliar to us, and may seem largely abstract. The most innovative design work usually takes place in response to new knowledge. A personal response which is individual and creative while remaining informed and appropriate. This project involved the design of book covers for a series of books covering key ideas and movements from across Art, Architecture, Philosophy, Economics and Theology; a series of ‘isms’.
