One of the biggest barriers that homeless people face when it comes to getting back into society is having no fixed address. This means they cannot apply for financial or housing help from the government and applying for jobs can be more of a challenge.
This is where our idea ‘Address Homelessness’ comes in.
Free mailboxes, sponsered by local businesses, that are specifically available for people who are recently homeless and seeking help from SHELTER. They can begin to help themselves become part of society again. It gives them a vehicle in which they can use to gain help from the government and make applying for jobs easier.
