Singleopticon was a cross-modal installation that involved using innovative techniques such projected mapping, augmented reality, rapid prototyping and mechanical devices such as moving water and mist releases - all to tell the narrative of our client's product. The result was a physical artefact that acted as a living prop, a re-designed map of Scotland with several interactive features, such as hidden reveals mechanisms, multi-sensory rigging, light shows and projection mapping.
The projection maping table itself was integrated in a larger design piece, a set of rooms that told the narrative of the Scottish stills to an Asian market.
