Sisterhood Collection.

  • Tallulah Martin

For this collection I’ve been inspired by the bonds of sisterhood and the state and time of being a girl. As a designer I’m inspired by people, interactions and subtle moments of beauty that might be overlooked. My concept is about the lives of women I know, intimate everyday and intense moments of female freindship and my own journey through an all girls school. This work can be seen as a visual diary of my own to which others can perfectly relate. I have an affinity with women because I understand what it’s like to be one so I make faithful and timeless pieces out of beautiful material that as a women you not only look but feel amazing wearing. I design clothes that women can look their best in but also walk in comfortably and sit down in comfortably. I want to capture the spirit of sisterhood in this collection by showing the bond between groups of women visually in the designs and prove why femininity to me means more than girly motifs or womanly silhouettes.
