Taught project
This was a fictional re-release of Skyharbor's Album "Blinding White Noise: Illusion and Chaos".
The goal of this redesign was to reflect the themes and complexities of the music through packaging that combined strong visual and a conceptual elements.
The lyrics of the album tell a story of conflict that flows through all tracks. The second section of the album, Chaos, is a prequel to the first; this is reflected in the design of the packaging.
The user discovers this when the album is unfolded and laid flat, the tracks can then be viewed in a clockwise direction. This is hinted by the track numbers and the progression of the story told by the illustrations and lyrics.
