The incentive of the competion was a chance to win a shopping spree at our store. However, entrants had to complete their entry on a separate data collection page and this was to identify the different types of users we had (gave us a more specific look at our clientel). They would then be prompted to share the promotion and directed to a custom thank you page. On this page, they received design tips on them about their initial chosen schemes. Throughout the entry process, users will be given the option to visit our online store, which in return boosted sales and also helped in driving website traffic.
