Given the project brief, we have to create a typographic outcome based on the given texts written by George Perec, which writing style is Oulipo that is feature on freeing literature by tightening its rules.
I adopt the spirit of Oulipo and came up with the idea of making a pop-up book which can display texts in a 3d way while challenge readers’ way of reading. Font-wise I choose Baskerville which is a normal font applied in publications widely that I want to remain the traditional book reading feeling for readers. Also page number is not put as I believe the design can be cleaner and readers will find the navigation to read the book from left to right naturally. The binding used is lay flat.
