I co-founded an independent design agency with two fellow students called ‘Spring Collective’. We run this within our course and have 8 employees spanning the different year groups. We brought together varying experience and styles to produce visually diverse and effective outcomes, learning from each other’s ways of working.
This has been an incomparable experience. Negotiating and balancing friendships, whilst delegating tasks to my peers all without the transaction of money has been a challenge. Careful documentation and weekly reflection with my agency has made me aware of my own personal strengths regarding my interpersonal skills and helped me build on weaker areas.
