Pastels may not be ‘New news’ for spring, but it seems that the menswear designers, from New York to Paris, got the memo. Coming in hues that played with the full spectrum - think lavender, baby blue, and blush pink - the colours were seen on relaxed tailoring that was worn sans shirt at Kenzo, to silhouettes that played with traditional masculine tropes in the form of sheer second skin sets at Ludovic de Saint Sernin. So if you invest in one colour palette for next season make it pastel, and if you have the sartorial styling chops, try pairing it back with rich summer darks of deep teal, berry, and purple.
