Working in sentimental materials that are barely visible, my work is a visual imagining of lost memories.
These items, unsettling and intangible, work to mirror the experiences of a person living with Dementia. I often witnessed the distress and confusion caused by these stolen memories while caring for my late Grandmother, and so this final project is a memento mori to my Gran.The lady who inspired my love of textiles and always pushed me to create, I will keep your memories safe for you.
