Strangers

This is my first art project where I used Tinder as a platform. As a photo I had only screenshot with the proposal that you can read below. I chose one person with whom we had really nice and deep conversation and we met in the city. At some point I wanted to repeat the piece made by Marina Abramovic, where she looked straight to the strangers eyes for some time. We discussed it before in the app. During our silent encounter, time came and we sat in front of each other on a bench near the Thames River. And he looked straight into my eyes and I found myself with tears in my eyes and no power to look back. He looked straight at me, and I looked at the birds and people passing by trying not to burst into tears. It made me really angry as I could not do the it though it was mine idea. It was difficult. The rest time we walked in the city, sometimes holding hands and enjoying the moment and us in it. For me It was not romantic piece. It was humanistic one.
