Sub Cult; Brand Identity

  • Tom Shaw
Award winning Sandwich fanatics Sub Cult are famous for their gourmet U.S deli-style sub rolls and cheeky banter - dished out from the hatch of their faithful old monochrome van 'The Soul Roller', where they've enjoyed serving long queues of Londoners from since 2014 - .
Since gracing the pages of The Evening Standard and Time Out’s Best London Sandwiches and Streetfood features, Sub Cult has gone from strength to strength and now trades from their busy pop up shop on Broadgate, as well as renowned street food markets.
Going for a NY Deli vibe we developed a black and white palette throughout all the collateral as with the images which take in the entire style gamut from Skinheads, Punks, Mods & Teddy boys to Acid House. As the business grew and developed we have introduced new elements to develop the look and feel - with signwritten casual menus and the additon of a flourescent orange as a highlight colour.
