Delving deep into the unknown worlds of fantastical possibilities, SUBJECT ONE is an experimental design investigation to explore interaction, reaction and response with artistic accessory wear. Inspired by the darkly compelling beauty of what lies on the bed of the deep sea, a personally designed five-piece body collection takes the form of hybrid skeletal formations. Contemporary technologies such as 3D printing and photochromic substances merge with art, fashion and nature so the untouched and unexplained can be brought closer to the consumer.
The purpose of the Creative Direction behind Subject One is a reaction to the increased consumer demand for products that are unique, cutting edge and contemporary. The project tangibles involved, the construction of a 5 piece prototype accessory range, editorial photo shoot and a short fashion film.
