Susan Haynes-Elcock is the author ho 'Sugah, Sugah' a healthy lifestyle cooking book for people living with diabetes. More recently she has been hosting food days for her readers, to promote home cooking and her other books.
I came along before it all kicked off to photograph some of her home dishes so she would have materials for future invites and website promotion. Susan was of course cooking at home, so wanted to represent that and keep things fresh and comfortable. We shot some of the dishes arranged on her table and some of the cooking as well to give that sense of home and self reliance.
