Tinder, and the surge of online dating apps that it spawned, have only been around since 2012. But already, they have revolutionised the way we meet and connect in the digital age. It is estimated that by 2040, 70% of couples will have met online, and in the UK, millennials today spend 10 hours a week on dating apps. The smartphone has now become the crucial link between our relationships. But how good is that for our mental health and the way we form relationships?
