Switch On

How can I give 16-25 year olds a voice in national decisions?
Problem: The younger generation are not interested in politics, with the very word bringing up negative connotations. This means that their views are being ignored by those in power.

‘Switch on’ is a campaign to get the younger generation involved in national decisions.

‘Switch on’ uses a set of installations aiming to get people actively thinking about important issues.

Installation 1 ‘Switch on’,
Should we lower the voting age to 16?

Installation 2 ‘Give your two pennys worth’,
Should the state have control of bankers bonuses?

Installation 3 ‘Leave your mark’,
Should we have to carry identity cards?

The installations would travel around schools in addition to town centres to reach the younger audience intended.
