I came up with the design after an experience at a gig where - as usual - I was the path of least resistance in the crowd. I decided to see what would happen if I held onto a railing and didn't move for anyone. And of course a new path formed elsewhere... this felt like a good metaphor for how it feels sometimes to be a woman in certain industries, and maybe even in social or domestic situations.
