Wow! FOUR HUNDRED AND TWENTY of you showed up at The Vaults on Wednesday. This was our 5th event and the largest yet… by absolutely miles.
The Vaults was decked out in it’s lairy best and you lot were primed and ready for a slice of real talk.
First we heard from our own Paul Mellor, about how our industry’s head is up it’s arse (that Trivago ad though), and his rallying call for more trouble makers.
30 years ago, agencies were chock-a-block full of trouble makers, now they’re rarer than rocking horse shit.
Next up on the TFR stage was Ellie Flynn, telling her story with honesty and humour, demonstrating immense integrity for her work.
Going undercover against criminals? That’s a proper risky business.

AND THEN..
Cindy Gallop showed us why she is the hottest speaker in town. Fucking hell could we be more in love with Cindy?!
Giving it both barrels, quoting Shakespeare, referencing famous pitches from her BBH days, and leaving us in no doubt we should be challenging everything in our industry.
With acerbic wit, charisma, and a sprinkle of panache, Cindy delivered.
Mind. Blown.

Plenty of you stayed for the after party, had a few lager shandys, and then one or two (or three) mojitos in Bar Cubana (BEST mojitos in London).
