Tangent - Editorial Design

A new experimental arts and culture magazine called Tangent required a full identity.
The challenge was to create a strong and unique identity for a magazine that showcased news, interview and reviews.
My concept started from the name of the magazine “Tangent”, delivering edgy and un-expected layout for articles that held together within one magazine. I used black and white photography through-out combined with a different colour pops per article to bring a uniqueness to each feature along with bold typography to bring the content of the articles to life on the page.
