Tate Modern

  • Evgeniia Kovryga
The project is based upon academic contexts unit. The initial research about structure (and the city) and such important terms in art and design as modernism/postmodernism, form/function and deconstruction lead to further thoughts about present and future design movements.
The idea: new meanings of the old principles used in past in architecture, art and design; space arrangement and in particular, gallery spaces; history and redevelopment of the most famous galleries.
The editorial “Tate Modern. Yesterday,Today,Tomorrow" has rather philosophical character (world of chaos, flux and change). Different paper stock is used to organize the book into 3 parts.
Inspiration: Z.Bauman "Liquid Times. Living in an Age of Uncertainty" and the founder of deconstruction - Jacques Derrida.
