Tea Monsters - Children's Tea Packaging

Problem
Children’s tea in UK is almost non-existent. This is mostly due to the levels of caffeine normally found in tea that could lead to hyperactivity. However, where child obesity is running rampant, a range of refreshing drinks that aim to get kids off the sugar, and on to a nutritious alternative could be key to a healthier future.
Insights
Any articles that talk about sugar in soft drinks and the increase in child obesity.
Solution
The solution uses simple characters that embody the range of four decaffeinated teas for children. The interactive packaging types here are important for retaining attention and for creating associations between healthy and fun.
Audience
Children ages 4–10
Typeface
More to be used as lettering than an actual functioning typeface. Was created to embody the tea's character. They use small 'teeth' that have a shallow appearance to reflect the monster (childish) aspect of the drink. Cute, yet bitey.
Packaging
Interactive packaging is used in order to create an association between healthy and fun. The mobile form is how it would sit on the shelf.
