Here's How They'll Survive: Stephen Petranek Ted Talk - Magazine Spreads ( Print layout for transcript) - I wanted to create a set or spreads that communicated and developed a visualization of the talk for the reader while having a manageable and satisfying readability. Driving the imagery and layout away from the stigma of scientific subjects being dull or boring and making the spreads so that they are engaging and therefore enticing for reader while building on the their imagination. I aimed to use surrealism in my imagery and separate the talk into sections while using hierarchy to emphasize interesting topics.
