Terminal Temporaire

Visual identity for the concept Terminal Temporaire in Blagnac Toulouse Airport, aiming a possible installation in other French airports. The project was to give an identity to Terminal Temporaire, telling it appart from the museum's identity (reddish).
Terminal Temporaire is a place dedicaded to art, somewhere in the terminal C. In association with Musée des Abattoirs (a contemporary museum from Toulouse), it includes both historical works and young artists achievements, mixing sculpture, painting, photography and video. This exhibition changes every six months and involves artists from the region.
Both "T" evaporate, emphasizing the temporary nature of a specific time (waiting in an airport, traveling, contemplation of the exhibition ...). Both letters reveal a depth reminiscent of passages or paths.
Both letters are then used to form numerous patterns with two functions. First would guide the passenger, in a maze of patterns, through the exhibition. The next function would be to warn the passenger of possible facilities and art installations. There would be also other reminders of the exhibition using the logo and its patterns (receipt, bookmark...).
The final logo, which is black, is given to all airports in France. The peculiarity then lies in the fact that this logo adopts the color of the main partner (museum, FRAC...) of the airport in question.
