Thank God it's Black Friday

BRIEF We were briefed to create a Black Friday campaign that would capture the attention of residents and corporates that live and work nearby the most iconic shopping centre of Johannesburg's business district to drive footprint into the shopping centre during Black Friday. APPROACH We came up with a fun and quirky Black Friday #TGIBF idea by changing traditional emoji faces into black emoji faces for both print and digital animations to be used across all digital screen channels and branding spaces in the shopping centre and on social media. RESULT The campaign resulted in a 15% increase in foot-count than the previous year which increased the sales targets beyond expectations for the retailers.
