The Big Show 2016

Event identity and way finding system at the University of Derby.
The Big Show is a series of live events and exhibitions across the city of Derby. It offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the very best of emerging contemporary art and design practice from the final year students.
In collaboration with David McGravie, Head of Art and Design Department, and architecture students.
Cooperation with architecture students led us to the key inspiration for the BIG SHOW 2016 identity- the cube. The visual identity: the cubes, used both in architectural construction, and graphic designs.
Exhibitions were scattered at various venues, therefore difficult to find for visitors. Our aim was to design a map and directional signage inside and around the building. Two colours distinguishe two Colleges exhibited on the Show. The College of Arts with pink, and the College of Engineering and Technology with yellow.
