An intensely research driven initiative, the BukNuk is an attempt to encourage leisure reading in
children of school age in the UK. The concept is built with modularity in mind and with the aim of having
children involved in setting it the BukNuk up and making it their own to use in classrooms and share the
experience of the physicality of books and the metaphor of the magical universe they give access to.
