A book and four screen prints, based on an analysis of the ballet ‘The four temperaments’ and its relation to the four humours in medieval philosophy - where an excess in certain bodily fluids, black bile, blood, phlegm and yellow bile, dictate personality traits. I drew from existing diagrams of the temperaments to inform the overall aesthetic of the project. Each illustration of the humours, is a mapping of the dancer’s movement in relation to time and space.
