A collaboration with the Digital Programme at the V&A Museum to explore the future of money and currency through illustration.
The animation is a reflection on how in today's world (and likely in the future as well) personal data is used as a form of currency: we all get services and free access to apps and websites, but the word "free" here is misleading: we actually traded our personal data, our privacy, to have that access.
The 2D animation is a short story of how our personal data is used and processed (becoming therefore Big Data) at corporate level, and that the final user only get back very little, compared to what he gave away.
