The Grasp Project

  • Rosie Baily
The Grasp Project was an initiative aiming to re-invent craft in our current digital age. In association with Oh Comely Magazine, we achieved this through promoting the authenticity and quality of handmade products, eliminating gender stigmas within certain art forms, encouraging entrepreneurship within the craft industry and making crafts accessible to all ages in the local Bournemouth community, through exciting workshops. Following the workshops was an evening of music, talks from inspirational crafters, poetry and delicious food.

The event hand numerous supporters in addition to Oh Comely, including LUSH, PROPERCORN, HeyCreate, themakerplace.com and R P Printers.
