YCN Student Awards 2015 - The Idle Man

Design Brief -
- Create a Campaign targeted at 18-25 year old men as a go - to store for menswear.
- Create a fun, enjoyable shopping experience
- Offer a guiding hand on how to wear

Current Design Identity -
The current design offers a similar design style to the Idle Man's competitors which makes the website rather generic. The tone of voice was quite cold and impersonal.

Design Proposal -
Introduce some character and warmth to the brand. Due to the high levels of customer service the brand wants to offer, my proposal offers a new and more personal online shopping experience.

Introducing Personal Style Recovery Service -
The Style Recovery service is an idea based around the Motor Recovery Breakdown service.

Online personal tailors are on hand through an incorporated messaging service on the website to offer guidance and support for customers while offering a personal style guide to consumers.

This offers more of a relationship between the brand and individual, while users can express they're tastes and interests for the Tailors to build a profile upon.

The rebrand includes an all new website redesign and also promotional material for the brand.
