Last Great Malts of Scotland

John Dewar & Sons decided that it was finally time to put whisky enthusiasts out of their misery by launching five, long-awaited single malts. After generations of waiting, Aberfeldy, Aultmore, Craigellachie, Royal Brackla and The Deveron would be widely available in their own bottles for the first time. The brief was simple: get the whisky world literally salivating in anticipation of these malts, and get them to put their names down to be the first to receive them. So we poured ourselves a drop, and set about hatching what would become the Last Great Malts. The site gives visitors a nip of what’s soon to come and urges them to ‘Make sure the first dram is yours’. In tandem, we’re also busy creating five, enticing mini-websites for each whisky, each as unique as their distilleries and directing enthusiasts to The Last Great Malts to sign up. They haven’t yet officially been released so there’s still time to put your name down if you fancy a nip.
