The Longest Night

The new Canon G7x is specifically designed to capture images in low light conditions. We put the camera through it’s paces in the run up to the Winter Solstice, exposing the darkness on the longest night of the year. We then published and distributed a newspaper, showcasing the amazing images, but with one small twist: as the camera provides illumination into the darkness, our newspaper when illuminated by UV provided an extra layer of detail telling our tech savvy consumers the hidden specifications behind every image.
