The Outward Bound Trust

Originally founded in 1941 to ensure the survival for young merchant seamen during the war, The Outward Bound Trust is now an educational charity that uses the outdoors to help develop young people from all walks of life.
With no marketing department as such, this non-for-profit charity needing some brand awareness. Taking the idea of direction and moving forward, the 'progression arrow' graphic device seemed to fit perfectly. Using this simple shape throughout the brand was a challenge, giving it different strengths and forms but it's a challenge I met.
