The Oxford Print Fair

The Oxford Print Fair comes to Modern Art Oxford on 9th September 2017, showcasing 21 artists and print studios from across the country.
Artwork is available for purchase direct from the creators themselves. Prints range from large, intricate work and bold posters to smaller items like cards and postcards. There's even some textile work to get to grips with!
Tim Pennells, founder of Mogul Creative, commented on the value of print:
“We’re pleased to see such smart, witty and bold printmaking come to Oxford. The power of print comes from being able to hold something in your hands, or enjoy it in the flesh - and with visitors being able to purchase and take away great art, everyone will have made their mark on the day.”
Alessandra Mostyn, from Forecast Events, comments on the extremely high standard of submissions received:
“The high quality of the submissions for the fair made it very difficult to cut the group down to those we could fit into the venue! It’s exciting to be able to bring the print fair to Oxford after the successes we’ve had in Manchester over the last 5 years. We are really looking forward to showcasing these talented creatives at such an established arts venue.”
With artists working across a broad spectrum of techniques, from traditional lino and etching to more modern photo-printing techniques and textile printing, a impressive range of talent will be on display.

Since it’s creation in 1966 Modern Art Oxford has always been about exposing the public to modern, innovative art - and fostering ways to see that art as part of our normal lives - and this event is no exception.
See you there on the 9th September!
