A word is generator and transformer. One word leads us to another or others. A word contains an idea, an image or action. The word is the outbreak and out of it, are other words. This is the cycle I want this piece to symbolize: birth, growth and expansion of the word.
Surrounding the sculpture, the viewer will be able to discover what it contains; randomly written words that form the roots of an outbreak in blank, where the word is born.
As is recurrent in several of the works of this proposal, the word has a metaphorical similarity with the plant world. The word as an organic element grows and sprouts.
This piece was exhibited in the Gallery Rafael Perez Hernando in a collective exhibition Emerge 12, with another ten young artists in January 2013.
