The Shootist Identity, Website and Showreel

The Brief:
To create a logo, stationary, website and showreel for cameraman Edward Noel using the name The Shootist as his alias.

The Solution:
By combining the visually similar objects of a film canister and a gun barrel I was able to create a logo that referenced the business of film and the history behind his profession, but also showcased the impact of the name and it’s many interpretations. The project involved logo creation and applications including stationery and stickers that could be applied to equipment, a website that features full-screen scalable images taken from his footage, along with clients, equipment and his showreel which I edited myself.
