SELF-SCREENING SYSTEM
Skin cancer is the most common cancer disease at all. Every year approx. 234,000 people in Germany are newly diagnosed with skin cancer.
The self-screening system presents a new perspective on prevention. The aim was to create a concept which redirects peoples awareness on their own body - an educational approach.
SYSTEM COMPONENTS
One important aspect in the development were the different physical conditions of the body which require tools that are specialized for each area.
The majority of the skin surface will be recorded by the projection and recording unit. The magnifying glass is for details such as shoulders and feet. The comb is specialized for the scalp.
MAPPING & FEEDBACK
The defined areas that were recorded are mapped on a personal 3D scan of yourself.
In the feedback you can see detailed information about the exact position of individual moles or special risky areas.
