A proposal for the 14-18 NOW cultural programme which marks the centenary of WWI, this site specific performance is inspired by ‘The Trial’ by Franz Kafka. Transformed into a nightmare, the audience follows Joseph K. into the depths of his mind and of the court, encountering its strange inhabitants. As a venue, The Vaults Waterloo, provides the perfect setting to accomodate the story’s sense of alienation, disorientation and claustrophobia.
