The Wall

  • Simon Walsh
Concentrating on how families will communicate with one another on their own private ‘social network’. Built into the home’s installation, ‘The Wall’ allows families to not enjoy their everyday entertainment-based activities; such as watching TV, playing games and watching films – but it also strives to act as a catalyst to promote conversation and interaction between families.

The Wall is the family timeline for the household. Members are able to browse through the years as they look through photo’s, videos and important family events. With facial recognition technology, each family member has access to their own individual ‘wall space'; meaning that they can easily access their favourite TV shows, photo’s and music with a simple hand gesture.
