After the passing of their father, sisters Marianne and Henrietta Wilton are bequeathed his factory, which was more than uncommon in the Edwardian period. The sisters had grown up visiting the factory with their father as often as they were able and thus, both wish to see it flourish.
However, after discovering the immense mountain of debts owed by their family to creditors, the sisters recieve more than what they had anticipated. Now, they have to struggle together to try and salvage what is left of their father's legacy, fight off competitors and decide what do they want more; to fall back to traditions that restrict women or maintain their family birthright.
