A 2nd Year speculative project to produce a complete design for 'The Yellow Wallpaper', set at The Wapping Project, London. In my design scrolling wallpaper gradually encloses the audience member sitting on the bed, and ghostly women appear to be dancing behind it, before suddenly returning to normal. The audience emerges to find the cafe space filled with mums and babies.
For this project I created set and costume designs, technical drawings, a storyboard, a model, a mock-up of the scrolling wallpaper, costings and budget, and publication materials.
