This Is (Not) YouTube

The project aims at changing the way users engage with the content accessed on YouTube, destabilizing what is called the “habituated perception”. The artefact, consisting of 5 screens, is designed to originate provocative aural and visual experiences and unexpected emotional reactions through techniques such as de-familiarization and cognitive dissonance.
