Thrills of the Emporium is a quirky, vintage furniture and upholstery shop in Leamington Spa. Their website was looking tired and wasn’t responsive or capable of facilitating online shopping, something that is becoming more of a necessity in modern times.
I wanted to create a slightly wacky, edgy style for the shop, to reflect the unique products found inside. I did this by creating inky illustrations from photographs of the products on their shelves; but that wasn’t enough!
I wanted to truly reflect the ever-changing nature of the shop; the items are unique, and once they’re gone, they’re gone! To show this, I subtly animated the website banner, so products morphed into other products, effectively meaning the product range was constantly evolving, just like the shop itself.
