Tokyo:Transition was a 2014 collaboration with my brother, artist James Harney, for the Museum of Contemporary Art’s monthly night ArtBar.
Paperform was kindly nominated by The Japan Foundation to contribute to the Japanese themed night guest curated by Pip & Pop.
In a fusion of our artistic practice, a giant paper kabuki curtain frames footage of mass transit, Japan style, gathered from time spent on artistic residency in Tokyo.
Accompanying the main piece, I curated a display of imagined cultural artefacts in paper.
